Dear Dr Pataki,
I am over 60 and I'm looking to have a chin laser lipo done. Please, see the attached photo and reply with your suggested procedure and costs.
We have carefully investigated your chin profile foto, we even did measurements on it. I may tell you that we see similar neck/chin problems daily, and the good solution is not a Laser Lipoplasty, but almost always Lipoplasty combined with a Face and Neck Lift (such as MACS lift or XMACS lift: Minimal Access Cranial Suspension) properly done.
Face and Neck Lift can be performed in the same sitting with Autologous Fat Filling for centre-facial rejuvenation and volumetrization of the facial skin and underlying soft tissues especially in the mid-face area. We use Micro Fat Grafting to the cheek areas, temporal area and nasolabial fold, Nano-Fat Grafting to the tear trough, Sharp Needle Fat Grafting to perioral lines and the Marionette lines). The shrunken eyelids can also be treated, this is called augmentational Blepharoplasty (both skin excess excision and Lipofilling is performed).
Laser Lipo alone is not ideal management for your problem, as it will not have a beneficiary effect on the skin excess, it may even worsen the problem. The word “laser” sounds good, we also use laser equipments for many treatments.
However, we consider Laser Lipoplasty too agressive in the region of the chin and neck. We recommend a Liposuction (eg. power-assisted PAL) with Neck Lift instead that can be extended to a Face Lift if the most common cause – sagging of midface and facial volume loss – is your problem. Prices are set individually at the consultation.
If you only intend to have only a Laser Lipo the chance of dissatisfacion is almost 100 percent.
For a careful planning, we suggest you to visit a plastic surgeon who has done a great number of facial rejuvenation and is an expert in Liposuction and Lipoplasty.
Our clinic is one of these options, but not the only.
