Less-invasive liposuction techniques

01 December 2014

Dear Doctor Pataki,

Do you offer less-invasive liposuction techniques that don't require general anesthesia? I would like to get rid of fatty areas on my waist and belly and thighs.
I don't think I am interested in such a procedure that requires hospital stay.

Kind regards,

Cecile

Dear Cecile,

Thank you for your email. There are “less invasive” methods, what cosmeticians perform, but the are not very effective.

We recommend PAL (Power Assisted Liposuction) as the best technique for one of the most atraumatic way of fat removal of the written areas.

2-3 areas can be treated in local anaesthesia that does not require hospital stay. One area is about the size of a palm.

For more than that we recommend hospital stay , with sedation or general anaesthesia for your overall security and best outcomes

This way it is the least invasive method, as you don’t have any pain, that might occur during local anaesthesia or other treatments.

All standard operations we carry out in our hospital clinic in Budapest in local or general anaesthesia.

Please visit http://www.plasztikai.hu/en , http://www.drpataki.hu/en/our-hospital-clinic and http://www.drpataki.hu/en/premium-hospital-plastic-surgery for further information. In the case of a liposuction, eventual body sculpturing you have to stay in the hospital for 1-2 nights.

We suggest you to discuss the possibilities with one of our doctors.
I can give you a consultation appointment if you prefer.
Thank you very much for your interest and hope that all your other questions can be answered at a personal conversation.
Please confirm if you have received our letter.

Yours Sincerely,
