Dear Doctor Pataki,
Thank you for your answer.
I've now shortlisted a couple of praticians after a few checks, and have a few more questions before getting to my final decision.
- How many facial fat transfers have you performed? On males?
- do you centrifuge the fat?
- what quantity do you reinject per droplet?
- do you have any pictures of your work?
- Could you book an initial consultation for this procedure?
- Are you available in january for this procedure?
Thanks in advance for your answer,
Dear Mr. Stevenson,
Thank you for coming back to us. It is a privilege for us and we are proud to be on your short list.
dr. Pataki has performed several hundred fat graftings on male patients. Taking into consideration that he leads the Pediatric Plastic Surgery Division of one of Hungary’s larges Hospitals, he has treated scars and other contour deformities in certainly more than thousand patients.
Nowadays there is a controversy about whether to centrifuge the aspirated fat or not. In our practice centrifuging depends on the quality of the fat (bloody or thick etc.) and the predicted take rate. Invasive centrifuge harms the cells, therefore we use manual centrifuge in some cases, in other cases we use special filters. We use very small caliber filters for the reinsertion of the fat. All other fat preparation and insertion method is quite of a secret of our institution, therefore we can give you more details on this at a consultation. Here you can see preop and postop pictures, the used tools, videos, and some of dr. Pataki’s presentations for his collaegues.
The initial consultation can be booked. Fortunately we are completely booked for January 2016, unfortunately therefore we can only give you a date for a consultation or the intervention starting from 15th of February.
